Fuel prices – an interesting feature also for drivers

Published by Team NavShip on

The current situation with fuel prices is on everyone’s lips. However, it’s easy to forget that the NavShip app also has a useful feature for drivers: the fuel price display for land-based gas stations. Originally, this function was intended for quickly filling up a jerrycan on the water in emergencies or on the way to the slipway, allowing drivers to compare fuel prices. Now, however, it’s also frequently used for price comparisons among motorists.

This feature has been available since 2017 and is included in the premium version of the app. Opening hours are displayed graphically in red/green, indicating whether the gas station is currently open or not. You can easily activate this feature in the settings menu under “Show rural gas stations” and it’s available on iOS and Android.
